ReplyDeleteThank you for this translation. It broke my heart when I first saw Roger crying, but at the same time I find it very comforting to see Leslie's true friends still getting so emotional talking about him, I hope that never changes.

ReplyDeleteYou've got me crying with your latest translation.... the part where Roger and Shi Qu couldn't go on.... it put me there with them and wanting to talk of our old friend but knowing that if I did I would end up crying....
That bit where Leslie called him and asked why he didn't contact him.... there's a bit that's cut short.. what happened there... where it says 'He said you.....'
Anyway after reading your translation I checked out the video and that had tears pouring down my face... I can't bear other's singing Leslie's songs and yet I want them to to remind everyone about him and to provoke these tears in me... I watched all his performance because I wanted to understand Roger's feelings.. obviously they are worse than mine because he had contact with Leslie and was his friend....oh dear... I really can't stand Leslie being gone and all these people still being here... Leslie come back.. please.
